The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Porunov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Djozilla sprawls well initially but Porunov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Porunov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Djozilla does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Porunov wants to take a breather but Djozilla is having none of it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Porunov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Djozilla wants to get back to his feet.
Djozilla is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Djozilla is staying active underneath Porunov, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Porunov is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
