The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Chatum, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chatum really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Chatum misses the jab.
Chatum takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Napier Jr is rocked!
Napier Jr steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chatum.
Chatum fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Matt Chatum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chatum throws a right hand that Napier Jr ducks under and follows up with a left that Napier Jr also avoids with ease.

Napier Jr scores with a takedown into Chatum's guard.
Napier Jr wants to pass the guard but Chatum is keeping the position.
Napier Jr slips nicely into half guard.
Chatum looks like he's trying to stand up.
Napier Jr is tying to control. Chatum wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Chatum tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Napier Jr is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Chatum has managed to escape the submission attempt.
You get the feeling that Chatum really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Napier Jr stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
