Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Bermudez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yukii Ogata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ogata has chosen Eminem - Not Afraid as his entrance music. Yukii Ogata has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bermudez ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Bermudez throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Ogata avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bermudez throws a right hand that Ogata ducks under and follows up with a left that Ogata also avoids with ease.
Bermudez just misses with a punch to the body.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Bermudez!
Bermudez misses with a double jab.
Bermudez looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Nice takedown defense from Bermudez. No joy for Ogata on that attempt.
Ogata dives in and grabs Bermudez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bermudez pushes down on Ogata's head and hops out.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ogata.
Dennis Bermudez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yukii Ogata.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Bermudez counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Ogata changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bermudez tries to avoid it but Ogata manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bermudez to the ground. Bermudez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ogata shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bermudez's guard.
Bermudez wants to stand but Ogata is controlling the position.
Ogata wants to control from the top but Bermudez keeps moving.
Bermudez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ogata is controlling him.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Yukii Ogata.
Ogata shoots in but no luck this time.
No joy there for Bermudez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dennis Bermudez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ogata tries for a takedown but Bermudez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ogata is looking to score with low kicks.
Ogata needs to keep his hands up - Bermudez had a free shot at his head there.

Ogata shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bermudez is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ogata fails to move to back control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bermudez is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Bermudez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ogata on the ground.

Ogata takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Ogata has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Bermudez's body.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Ogata has got one arm under Bermudez's chin. This could be trouble... Bermudez trying to control the other hand but Ogata gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Bermudez has tapped out! The fight is over!
