Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thuam Chaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Toth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chaka comes to the cage accompanied by Heart of a Champion. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ryan Toth enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Thuam Chaka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryan Toth!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, John Mangel and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaka shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Toth but Toth pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Toth is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Chaka or perhaps it was just good defense by Toth which made him look bad.
Toth pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Chaka fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thuam Chaka. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Chaka has his takedown stuffed
and Toth counters with a nice body kick.
Toth displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Chaka.
Chaka shoots in for a takedown but Toth shows good takedown defense.
Chaka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Toth sprawls well. Toth wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chaka gets slowly back to his feet.
Chaka shoots in looking for a takedown. Toth tries to sprawl out of it but Chaka keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Toth manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Chaka is breathing heavily.

and Toth counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Chaka!

Toth stands up from mount. Strange move.

Toth closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Chaka quickly recovers to half guard.
Toth really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chaka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chaka is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Toth trying to control from half guard but Chaka is working away.

Chaka looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Toth is looking to advance position but Chaka won't allow it.

Toth is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chaka is just riding it out for now. Toth eventually gives up the hold.
Chaka is not content to let Toth control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Chaka has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Toth. Oh but Chaka has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Toth goes limp - he's gone! Chaka jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
