Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eric White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Varskinji!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
White works Varskinji's body with a nice hook.

Varskinji scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
White is concentrating on defense, preventing Varskinji from advancing position.
White trying to control here.
White is refusing to be controlled, as Varskinji sits in half guard.
White keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Varskinji throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Varskinji is looking for a kimura but White is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Varskinji to get the leverage.
White on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if White tries to get out of the position.

White is trying to stand.
Varskinji prevents White from improving his position.
White desperately trying to maintain half guard.
White knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Varskinji on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Varskinji shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts White as he jumps to the side.
Varskinji misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
White stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and White wants it to stay on the feet.
Eric White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Varskinji.
Varskinji shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as White sprawls well. White wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Varskinji gets slowly back to his feet.
White will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
White scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A jab from Varskinji misses.
White lands a jab to the head.

White slips a jab from Varskinji.
White fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
White scores with a shot to the body.
Eric White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
White with a nice cross.
Varskinji throws a left and a right that both miss
and White counters with a nice uppercut.
White throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
White displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Varskinji.
White is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
White scores with a hook.
Varskinji shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with White but White pushes him off and we're back to square one.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Varskinji moves in looking to clinch but White pushes him off.
White leaves Varskinji with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Varskinji misses with a body shot
enabling White to counter with a crisp jab.
Decent striking displayed by White there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A jab from White finds it's way through Varskinji's defenses.
White lands a lovely overhand right.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Varskinji closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.


Varskinji is rocked!
White throws a looping overhand right but Varskinji ducks down to avoid it.
Varskinji is still on wobbly legs! Can White finish him?
Varskinji tries to clinch up
and White counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Varskinji thinking.
Varskinji looks winded!
White looks to land a right hand but Varskinji moved out of range.
Varskinji steps to the side to avoid the strikes from White.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eric White dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


White avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
White stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and White wants it to stay on the feet.
Varskinji tries to move into range but White moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
White lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Varskinji at a distance.
White steps in with a hook that catches Varskinji right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! White follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Varskinji looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eric White!
An out of breath Eric White thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
