Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akira Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Possu Jokinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hayabusa might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bombs Away. Possu Jokinen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Possu Jokinen!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayabusa wants to clinch up but Jokinen keeps it at a distance.
Jokinen attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Hayabusa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No joy there for Hayabusa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jokinen.
Jokinen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jokinen ducks under a wild hook from Hayabusa.
Horrible takedown by Hayabusa or perhaps it was just good defense by Jokinen which made him look bad.

Jokinen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hayabusa's guard.

Possu Jokinen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
