The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crunch! Bennett slams his shin into Corrleone's torso.
Corrleone blocks a head kick by Bennett.
Bennett misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bennett tries a head kick but it misses.
Bennett throws a head kick but Corrleone moves out of range.
Corrleone shoots in for a takedown but Bennett shows good takedown defense.
Corrleone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bennett as he jumps to the side.
Corrleone shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bennett as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Corrleone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bennett is looking to clinch but Corrleone is avoiding it.
Corrleone throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bennett's waist but Bennett gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Corrleone off to one side.
Nice takedown defense from Bennett. No joy for Corrleone on that attempt.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bennett, right into the meat.
Corrleone has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bennett finds it's way round the side to connect with Corrleone's head.
Corrleone has a takedown stuffed.
Corrleone is breathing heavily.
Bennett lands a nice shot that snaps Corrleone's head back.
Bennett keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Bennett pulls guard effortlessly.

Corrleone pushing down on Bennett's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Bennett wants to improve his position but Corrleone is controlling well.
Bennett works his way to full guard. Good work.

Bennett really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Corrleone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Corrleone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bennett swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Corrleone thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Corrleone slips nicely into half guard.
Corrleone wants to free his trapped foot but Bennett is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Corrleone seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Bennett is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
