Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between BJ PENN (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Regis Lobo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, BJ PENN!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Regis Lobo!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from PENN.
PENN changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lobo tries to avoid it but PENN manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lobo to the ground. Lobo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
PENN has Lobo up against the cage in a clinch.
PENN has Lobo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lobo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for BJ PENN. That's going to take a lot out of him.
PENN tightens his grip and picks Lobo up, before dumping him to the ground. Lobo manages to land in guard.
Lobo working for a triangle but PENN defends it easily.
Lobo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. PENN manages to get himself to full guard.
Lobo wants to control from the top but PENN keeps moving.
PENN trying to keep a closed guard but Lobo is proving a slippery customer.
Lobo tries to free his leg and advance position but PENN is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lobo thows a big elbow that misses.

Lobo passes PENN's left leg - he's now in half guard.
PENN has hold of Lobo's hands but Lobo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
PENN is trying to stand.
Lobo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Lobo looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Lobo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
PENN is in trouble now - Lobo has advanced to mount!

PENN is in all sorts of trouble here.
Lobo pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Lobo has hold of PENN's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and PENN manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
PENN really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
PENN is bucking up trying to escape but Lobo cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
PENN is breathing heavily.

Lobo looking to secure an arm triangle but PENN defends it well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lobo trying to control but he's not successful this time.
PENN is working to get back to half guard.

Lobo lands a nice shot to the head.
Lobo in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
PENN tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Lobo looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
PENN is trying to escape the mount but Lobo keeps good control and instead manages to take PENN's back.

Lobo looking for the RNC.
Lobo is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. PENN knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften PENN for a finish.

Lobo is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. PENN has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Lobo has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! PENN taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Lobo doesn't care though - he's delighted!
