The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ripkin leaves Green with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Green scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Green thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Green tries for a kimura but Ripkin is defending well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ripkin is breathing heavily.
Green looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Ripkin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Green on the ground.

Green is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Ripkin is trying to escape and Green transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Ripkin is forced to tap! Nice work there by Green! Very nice indeed!
