Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ass throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Maynard was covering up waiting for the punch and Ass finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Maynard controls Ass momentarily but Ass frees himself.
Ass is looking to work some ground and pound but Maynard has wrist control.

Ass fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Maynard checks it well.
Ass tries to bum rush Maynard with a series of wild strikes but Maynard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Ass stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maynard swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ass ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Maynard scores with a nice body kick.
Maynard connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Ass misses with a hook.
Maynard fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ass has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ass throws a jab but it's blocked by Maynard.
Ass throws a right hand that Maynard ducks under and follows up with a left that Maynard also avoids with ease.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
