Manres kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Aqualung - Jethro Tull. Glass comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lamb of God- Walk With Me In Hell kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ludwig Manres!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Bobby Glass!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manres fails with a takedown attempt.
Manres takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Manres shoots in looking for a takedown but Glass manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Manres's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Glass misses with a leg kick.
Glass throws a hook to the side of Manres's head but Manres sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Glass moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Glass swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Manres.
That kick from Glass tenderised Manres's leg. Manres is trying to keep his angry face on.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Glass forces Manres back against the cage and clinches.

Glass digs a right hand into Manres's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Manres's gas tank.

Manres jumps into guard, dragging Glass to the mat.
Glass wants to control from the top but Manres keeps moving.

Bobby Glass has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
No joy there for Glass, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Manres blocks a body shot from Glass.
Glass drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Manres gets the underhooks and prevents it.

and Glass counters with a one-two to the body.

Glass lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Manres or not.
Manres tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Glass smiles and moves away.

Glass doesn't manage to clinch there - Manres circles away.
Manres steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Glass.

Glass tries a head kick but it misses.
Glass misses with a series of wild punches.
Manres shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Glass defends it nicely.

Manres dives in and grabs Glass's left leg, looking for a takedown. Glass pushes down on Manres's head and hops out.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Manres is on top in guard.

Glass is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Manres asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Ludwig Manres has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ludwig Manres.
Well Glass has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Bobby Glass was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
