Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Firus Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and peter Tremain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes to the cage accompanied by Fuel-Hemorrhage. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, peter Tremain!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams connects with a body shot that sends Tremain's belly button to the back.
Tremain wants to clinch but Williams slips to the side

and Williams counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Tremain is looking to stand up but Williams isn't so interested in that idea.
Williams slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Tremain is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Williams thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Williams in side control, throwing shots but Tremain defends.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Williams creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tremain sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Tremain tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Williams looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Tremain is avoiding damage well.
Williams is putting a hurting on Tremain here, landing some big shots from side control.
Williams works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Williams has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Tremain is looking to regain half guard here but Williams keeps moving and retains side control.

Williams is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tremain is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tremain is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Williams asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Williams is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tremain knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Tremain holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Tremain wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
