Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between King Leonidas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeSean Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Leonidas might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Spartan Warriors. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Leonidas looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jackson misses with a hook.
Jackson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jackson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jackson, right into the meat.

Jackson throws the left hand but Leonidas avoids the punch easily.

Leonidas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Leonidas counters with a nice uppercut.
Jackson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Leonidas crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jackson - the referee stops the clock and Leonidas gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jackson. Leonidas manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Leonidas is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
