The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sung Jung shoots for a takedown but Worthy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sung Jung fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sung Jung misses with a takedown attempt - Worthy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Buzz Worthy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chan Sung Jung.

Sung Jung closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Worthy did well to prevent Sung Jung getting side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Sung Jung throwing shots but Worthy is blocking nicely.

Worthy is looking to control Sung Jung's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Worthy avoid being mounted?

Sung Jung shoots in for a takedown but Worthy shows good takedown defense.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Worthy.

Sung Jung gets the takedown into side control.
You can see the frustration on Worthy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Sung Jung is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Sung Jung thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Worthy is controlling Sung Jung's trapped leg to prevent Sung Jung from advancing to side control.

Worthy wants to sweep here but Sung Jung controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Worthy pulls Sung Jung in close to prevent any damage.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Worthy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sung Jung defends well.
Worthy has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Worthy is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Sung Jung frees his head nicely. Oh but Worthy has switched to an armbar! Sung Jung is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
