Arlovski comes into the arena with Pitbull-dont stop the party blaring out of the sound system. Nick Lidell looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arlovski lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Nick Lidell has been cut.
Arlovski darts in and clinches Lidell up against the cage.
Arlovski jumps guard and drags Lidell to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Lidell preventing the sweep.
Arlovski wants to get back to his feet but Lidell is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Arlovski lands with a heel strike from the guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lidell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arlovski swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lidell gets to his feet. Arlovski looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Arlovski tries to clinch
and Lidell counters with a one-two to the body.
Oooooh!!! Arlovski has knocked Lidell down with a huge combo! Arlovski steps away and waves a wobbly Lidell back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Lidell is rocked!
Arlovski shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Lidell is on queer street and Arlovski is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Andrei Arlovski!
In his post fight interview, Andrei Arlovski started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
