Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Lebedev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Optimus Rimes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lebedev might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Yuri Favourite!. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Bruno Lombardi and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rimes scores with a jab to the body.

Yuri Lebedev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lebedev lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rimes has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rimes and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lebedev crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rimes - the referee stops the clock and Lebedev gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rimes. Lebedev manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Rimes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lebedev stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rimes stuns Lebedev with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rimes drops Lebedev with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lebedev looks back up at him and smiles so Rimes waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Lebedev is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rimes is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Lebedev flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Lebedev is out cold! Rimes holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
