Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Kilgore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kilgore comes to the cage accompanied by Champion by Chipmunk ft. Chris Brown. Martin has chosen I drink alone as his entrance music. Jamal Kilgore has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin throws a combination that misses
and Kilgore counters with a three punch combo that has Martin backing up. Martin nods at Kilgore to acknowledge the strikes.
Martin is looking to clinch but Kilgore is avoiding it.
Hank Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kilgore throws out a loose jab but Martin uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kilgore is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Martin is just riding it out for now. Kilgore eventually gives up the hold.

Kilgore is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Martin defends it well.
Kilgore seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Martin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kilgore wants to work for an arm triangle but Martin is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Martin is looking for a sweep. Kilgore is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kilgore goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Martin turns into him and now he's in Kilgore's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Jamal Kilgore will probably get the nod.

Kilgore has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Martin finds it's way round the side to connect with Kilgore's head.

No joy there for Martin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Martin looks to land a combination but Kilgore avoids it well.

Martin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kilgore moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Martin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Martin drops his hands momentarily and Kilgore takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Kilgore shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Martin misses with a double jab.
Martin throws a nice looking combination but Kilgore bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Martin throws a right and a left that Kilgore avoids nicely.

Kilgore shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kilgore showed some decent athleticism there.
Kilgore not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Kilgore looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kilgore wants to lay and pray for a moment but Martin keeps working.
