Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rad Jeffreis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter has chosen Kanye West - I Don't Like (Remix) Feat. Pusha T, Chief Keef, Big Sean, & J as his entrance music. Brandon Hunter is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rad Jeffreis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brandon Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Hunter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jeffreis is looking to clinch.
Jeffreis misses with a head kick.

Jeffreis shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hunter napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Jeffreis has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Jeffreis shoots in but Hunter avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Jeffreis closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hunter did well to prevent Jeffreis getting side control.
Hunter is looking to improve his position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hunter tries to kick Jeffreis off but Jeffreis keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Hunter is looking for a sweep. Jeffreis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jeffreis is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Jeffreis slips a nice elbow through Hunter's hands, connecting with Hunter's forehead.
Hunter looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jeffreis is just content to waste time from the top position. Hunter takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Hunter kicks Jeffreis off and gets to his feet.

Jeffreis scores a takedown into full mount!
Poor strikes thrown by Jeffreis there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Hunter sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jeffreis looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jeffreis wants to take a breather but Hunter is having none of it.

We're going to have a standup here because Rad Jeffreis wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Hunter lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Jeffreis shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jeffreis showed some decent athleticism there.

Jeffreis is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Jeffreis is looking to take a break and control but Hunter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Jeffreis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Jeffreis perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hunter is staying active underneath Jeffreis, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Jeffreis missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rad Jeffreis dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Jeffreis throws a series of punches but Hunter moves out of range.
Jeffreis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jeffreis tries to clinch up but Hunter circles away and keeps his distance.

Jeffreis gets a takedown into half guard.
Jeffreis prevents Hunter from standing back up.
Jeffreis trying to pass the guard but Hunter defending well.
Jeffreis is trying to control. Hunter wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Jeffreis is really struggling to control Hunter but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Rad Jeffreis wasn't doing enough on the ground.
No luck for Jeffreis with that takedown attempt.
Jeffreis throws a sloppy head kick
and Hunter makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Jeffreis shoots in for a takedown but Hunter shows good takedown defense.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hunter is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jeffreis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hunter connects with an inside leg kick.

Hunter defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jeffreis.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rad Jeffreis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hunter.
Jeffreis misses with a jab, cross combination.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hunter is defended easily by Jeffreis.
Hunter fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hunter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jeffreis as he avoids it easily.

Jeffreis looks to land a combination but Hunter avoids it well.
Jeffreis is looking to clinch but Hunter is avoiding it.

Hunter instigates a clinch.
Hunter is looking to take this one to the mat.

Jeffreis manages to break the clinch.
Jeffreis throws a hook but Hunter blocks it.
Jeffreis is looking to chop away at Hunter's legs.
Jeffreis throws a poor cross that misses

and Hunter counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hunter.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jeffreis wants to stand up but Hunter is controlling him.
Hunter sitting in guard here, content to control.

Jeffreis is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Jeffreis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hunter doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Jeffreis is tightening it up a little... Hunter has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Hunter reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Hunter taps out! Nice BJJ there by Jeffreis!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Rad Jeffreis!
A very excited looking Rad Jeffreis rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
