The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall misses with a head kick.
Hall connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hall throws a lazy head kick
and Draper counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Draper tests Hall's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Draper fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Draper scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hall looks to score with a jab to the body but Draper is just out of range.
Hall takes one on the button.
Draper moves away from the strike by Hall.
Draper scores with the left hand. Hall knows he should have avoided that one.
Hall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Good leg kick by Draper there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Draper jabs Hall right on the nose. Hall blinks but takes it well.
Draper cracks Hall with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Hall throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

and Draper counters with a nice leg kick.
Draper bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Draper pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Hall has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Draper finds it's way round the side to connect with Hall's head.

and Draper counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Hall is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Matt Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hall swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Draper scores with a counter punch that sends Hall to the canvas! Draper smells blood - he's punishing Hall with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Hall has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
