Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Spede Gonzales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Caholic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caholic scores with the left hand. Gonzales knows he should have avoided that one.
Gonzales closes the distance and clinches up with Caholic, looking for a takedown. Gonzales pushes Caholic against the cage but Caholic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gonzales looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Caholic is fending him off so far but Gonzales persists. Nope, Caholic circles away and we're back to standing.
Caholic fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Gonzales on the side of the head.

It looks like Spede Gonzales has been cut.
Caholic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gonzales fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Spede Gonzales. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A decent looking cross lands there for Caholic.
Caholic punishes Gonzales's body with a nice straight punch.
Caholic swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Spede Gonzales seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Caholic is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Gonzales hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
