PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Randy Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knox Lyndon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the ring accompanied by Notorious thugz - Bone Thugz. Lyndon is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Read Steady Go. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva clinches up against the ropes.
Silva has Lyndon pressed against the ropes, preventing Lyndon from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Lyndon is looking to break free of the clinch but Silva has double underhooks.
Lyndon wants to get back to striking at distance but Silva won't allow it.
Lyndon tries to circle away but Silva has him pinned against the ropes.
Silva keeps control of Lyndon as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Lyndon can't break the clinch.

Silva drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lyndon pulls his leg out and moves away.

Silva manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Lyndon on his heels. He'll look to pass Lyndon's guard now, I'm sure.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Lyndon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
