Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Les Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sameer Hamadoui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hamadoui is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lights Out. Sameer Hamadoui will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamadoui tries to close the distance and clinch up but Paul swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hamadoui misses with a head kick.

Paul shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Hamadoui wants to get back to his feet but Paul is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Paul might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hamadoui manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Paul has a takedown stuffed.

Hamadoui keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hamadoui tries to clinch but Paul is having none of it.
Hamadoui pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hamadoui throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Paul shoots in looking for a takedown. Hamadoui tries to sprawl out of it but Paul keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hamadoui manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Les Paul. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hamadoui clinches up with Paul and pushes him back against the cage.

Paul works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Hamadoui really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Paul. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hamadoui keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Paul's head.

Paul is looking to sinch up a triangle. Hamadoui throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Paul's body to avoid the submission. Paul has instead reached around Hamadoui's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Paul arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
