Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Salvatore Guiliano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magnuss Thorne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thorne clinches up with Guiliano and pushes him back against the cage.
Guiliano has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Thorne lands a body shot.

Thorne pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Guiliano tries to keep at a distance but Thorne has taken the fight into the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Thorne takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Thorne creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Guiliano's defenses.

Guiliano dodges an elbow strike from Thorne.
Thorne is pushing Guiliano up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Magnuss Thorne.
Thorne tries a head kick but it misses.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Guiliano looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

and Guiliano counters with a shoot takedown. Thorne fights it but they end up in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Thorne is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Guiliano is controlling him.

Guiliano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thorne swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Thorne is working an open guard so Guiliano takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and Guiliano decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Thorne's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Guiliano stands up over Thorne, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Guiliano tries to stand but Thorne is controlling from the bottom.

Guiliano stands and steps away. Thorne gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Guiliano tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Thorne paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Thorne scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Thorne tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Guiliano manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Thorne moves into range and clinches up with Guiliano.

Thorne jumps guard and drags Guiliano to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Salvatore Guiliano will probably get the nod.

Thorne closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Thorne has picked Guiliano up - he's going for a ride! Thorne dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

I would just about give that final round to Magnuss Thorne.
