Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee misses with the combination.
Lee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shields tries to avoid it but Lee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shields to the ground. Shields escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lee gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Lee thows a huge punch but Shields dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lee wants to work for an arm triangle but Shields is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Shields. Lee shrugs it off though.
Shields lands a glancing blow to the side of Lee's head.

Lee clinches up with Shields and pushes him back against the cage.
Lee has Shields pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Shields manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Shields tries to work over Lee's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

A short body shot lands from Shields as the two fighters clinch.
Lee is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Shields pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Lee has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Shields is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Shields keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Shields lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lee fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lee closes the distance and clinches up with Shields, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes Shields against the cage but Shields circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Lee has his feet on Shields's thighs here. He's pushed Shields off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Shields screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
