The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raine lands a lovely overhand right.

It looks like VinniJay Acunia has been cut.
Acunia tried to score with a low kick but Raine checks it.
Acunia throws a body punch but Raine moves out of range.
Acunia jabs Raine right on the nose. Raine blinks but takes it well.
Acunia tries to score a power double leg takedown but Raine sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Acunia somewhat.
Raine fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Acunia.
Acunia tries to land a leg kick but Raine saw it coming and moves away.
Raine throws a leg kick which misses Acunia's front leg but catches the back leg as Acunia tries to avoid it.
Raine connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Raine comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Raine avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Acunia is trying to push Raine away but Raine has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Acunia's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Raine throws the kick towards the body but Acunia avoids it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Acunia throws a head kick but Raine moves out of range.
Raine defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Acunia.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Raine wants to clinch up but Acunia keeps it at a distance.
Raine moves out of range of the body kick from Acunia.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Acunia shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Acunia was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Acunia lands a big shot there that rocks Raine but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Acunia wants to finish this one by submission but Raine is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Acunia.
Raine is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Acunia wants to control the pace but Raine is squirming around nicely.
Acunia postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Raine looks a forlorn figure.
Acunia won't let Raine get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Raine is rocked!

It looks like Aldo Raine has been cut.
Raine takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Acunia's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
