Johnson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fabolous - Breathe. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson moves into the clinch.
Johnson throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Rayo is trying to break free.

Johnson pulls guard successfully.
Rayo trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom.
Johnson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Johnson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Johnson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Johnson kicks Rayo off and gets to his feet.
Johnson wants to clinch.
Johnson moves in looking to clinch but Rayo pushes him off.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rayo lands with a cross.
Rayo scores with a shot to the body.
Johnson tries to clinch but Rayo is having none of it.
Johnson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rayo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Johnson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Rayo swats away the attempt to clinch by Johnson.

Johnson forces Rayo back against the cage and clinches.
Rayo is trying to push Johnson away but Johnson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Rayo breaks from the clinch.
Johnson doesn't manage to clinch there - Rayo circles away.
Rayo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rayo scores with a three punch combo!

Rayo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Johnson misses with the combination.

Johnson moves into range and clinches up with Rayo.

Rayo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Johnson moves in looking to clinch but Rayo pushes him off.
Rayo scores with the left hand. Johnson knows he should have avoided that one.
Johnson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rayo moves out of range of the strikes.
Johnson throws a nice looking combination but Rayo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rayo connects with a crisp jab.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rayo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Johnson walks straight into a right hand from Rayo - that's dropped him! Rayo jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Johnson from any more punishment! Johnson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

In his post fight interview, Kaiohun Rayo started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
