PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lothar Dornier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dornier might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dancing Queen by ABBA. Kevin Jackson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kevin Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson is looking to clinch.
Jackson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Jackson misses with a body kick.
Dornier throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dornier circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dornier misses with a head kick.
Dornier tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dornier cracks a nice hook into Jackson's ribs.
Dornier chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Dornier lands a head kick. Jackson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Jackson is looking to clinch.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch but Dornier swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jackson.
Dornier dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jackson. That did some damage!
Jackson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dornier swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dornier misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jackson is looking to clinch but Dornier is avoiding it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dornier stuffs the takedown attempt from Jackson. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet.
Jackson looks gassed!

Dornier drives through and clinches with Jackson against the cage.
Jackson takes an elbow to the forehead.
Dornier lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Jackson is rocked!
clinched against the cage, Dornier lands a big elbow that drops Jackson! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Jackson is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
