PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Sapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vadim Alexeev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vadim Alexeev told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bob Sapp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vadim Alexeev!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sapp pushes Alexeev up against the cage in a clinch.
Alexeev jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sapp walks away with a smile on his face. Alexeev gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Alexeev throws a leg kick

and Sapp counters with a head kick that drops Alexeev to the mat! Alexeev scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Alexeev is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sapp cracks Alexeev's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Alexeev slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Sapp can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bob Sapp!
A very excited looking Bob Sapp rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
