The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nimbou misses with a series of wild punches.

Nimbou throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Davey's waist but Davey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nimbou off to one side.
Davey throws a sloppy head kick and Nimbou moves out of range easily.

Davey feints a jab promting Nimbou to slip. Davey then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Nimbou slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Davey stalks Nimbou and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nimbou's face. Nimbou staggers backwards, shaken.
Baar Nimbou seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nimbou lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Davey circles away quickly and effectively.
Nimbou takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Davey moves into range and clinches up with Nimbou.
Nimbou wants to take the fight to the mat but Davey manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Oooh a lovely combination from Davey sends Nimbou down but not out. Davey dives into side control looking to finish.

That has opened up Baar Nimbou's cut even more.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Davey decides to stand back up. Davey steps back and let's Nimbou get back to his feet.
Davey lands a big right hook! Nimbou looks hurt but is still standing! Davey lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Nimbou falls down and Davey dives in with a huge hammer fist! Nimbou's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Davey runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
