And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 16 - 1, fighting out of New York, Foul Play!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov defending well as Play loads up on a big left hand.
Ivanov scores with a decent looking hook.
Ivanov misses with a two punch combination.
Play throws a leg kick that misses.
Play just misses with a punch to the body.
Play lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ivanov's sensitive parts.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Ivanov checks a leg kick.
Ivanov connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Play cracks Ivanov with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Sergei Ivanov has been cut.
Ivanov looks to throw the jab but Play is out of range.

and Ivanov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Ivanov clinches up with Play and pushes him back against the cage.
Play is trying to pull guard but Ivanov turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Play's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Play feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ivanovs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Play fakes the leg kick and cracks Ivanov in the body.
Play turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Foul Play seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ivanov is breathing heavily.
Play thumps Ivanov with a low kick.

Play lands a big right hand that sends Ivanov crashing to the mat! Play stays standing though and waves Ivanov back to his feet!

Ivanov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Play.
Play walks into a stiff left hand from Ivanov.
Ivanov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
The fighters circling - Play throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Play lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Oh Ivanov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Sergei Ivanov's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Play cracks Ivanov with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ivanov looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Play finish him?
Play throws a nice outside leg kick.
Play waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ivanov.
Ivanov seems to have got his legs back now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Play lands a big right hand that sends Ivanov crashing to the mat! Play stays standing though and waves Ivanov back to his feet!
Play cracks Ivanov on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Ivanov falls backwards against the cage. Play follows up with more strikes that drop Ivanov to his knees. Play keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Ivanov! This one is all over!
