Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Renaldo Dominguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butch Gunner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dominguez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gunner sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dominguez somewhat.
Gunner misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gunner throws the kick towards the body but Dominguez avoids it.

Dominguez bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Gunner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Gunner tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Gunner is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Dominguez has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Dominguez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gunner has escaped the position, nice work there.

Dominguez is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Gunner is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Gunner manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Gunner is looking to land body kicks.
Gunner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dominguez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nice takedown defense from Gunner. No joy for Dominguez on that attempt.
Dominguez tries for a takedown but Gunner sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Dominguez shoots for a double leg takedown but Gunner sprawls well. He's pushed Dominguez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Gunner swings for the body but Dominguez moves out of range.
Gunner throws a push kick but Dominguez slaps the foot to one side.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gunner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dominguez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gunner wants to control from the top but Dominguez keeps moving.

Gunner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Dominguez is working an open guard so Gunner takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Gunner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dominguez circles away quickly and effectively.
Butch Gunner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gunner shoots in for a takedown but Dominguez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Dominguez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gunner to the mat! Gunner manages to get full guard.

Dominguez drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gunner dives on top into guard.
Gunner's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Dominguez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gunner defends it easily.

Gunner drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gunner jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gunner is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Gunner wants to take a breather but Dominguez is having none of it.

Gunner seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Dominguez is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
