Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lewis Ridgeon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tshering Wangchuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ridgeon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to who let the dogs out. Wangchuck has chosen Rapa - Rang Sem Kar Ga Mikar as his entrance music. Tshering Wangchuck acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tshering Wangchuck!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wangchuck closes the distance looking to clinch

and Ridgeon counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Ridgeon goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Wangchuck has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ridgeon but great work by Wangchuck.
Ridgeon is trying to improve his position.
Wangchuck tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Wangchuck tries to stand but Ridgeon controls the position and pulls Wangchuck into his guard.
Wangchuck is looking to stand up but Ridgeon won't let him.
Ridgeon tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Ridgeon throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Ridgeon manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Ridgeon throwing strikes here but Wangchuck is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Ridgeon is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Wangchuck can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Ridgeon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wangchuck keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ridgeon is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Wangchuck has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Wangchuck!
Ridgeon is adopting a defensive guard.
Wangchuck really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ridgeon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wangchuck avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Ridgeon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

It looks like Tshering Wangchuck has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ridgeon is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Wangchuck can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lewis Ridgeon dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Tshering Wangchuck's cut.
That's time! Ridgeon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Wangchuck is looking to clinch.

and Ridgeon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wangchuck's guard.
Ridgeon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wangchuck can do to turn this around?

Ridgeon is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wangchuck is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wangchuck has escaped and now he's on top!

Ridgeon is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Wangchuck is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Lewis Ridgeon!
