Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Meeoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meeoff is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: bawitaba. Jack Meeoff has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavez connects with a jab.

Chavez tries to keep at a distance but Meeoff has taken the fight into the clinch.

Meeoff shoots in looking for a takedown. Chavez tries to sprawl out of it but Meeoff keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chavez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Meeoff manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Chavez on his heels. He'll look to pass Chavez's guard now, I'm sure.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Meeoff accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Meeoff shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Chavez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Meeoff has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chavez has managed to get both his arms back between Meeoff's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A very excited looking Hugo Chavez rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
