The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Doyle as he jumps to the side.
Baker circles away from the clinch attempt.

Doyle lands a big head kick that sends Baker tumbling to the mat! Doyle takes a step backwards and waves Baker back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Jeff Baker has been cut.
Jeff Baker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Baker shoots for a takedown but Doyle saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Doyle misses with a few strikes there.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Doyle fails with a takedown attempt.
Doyle wants to clinch.
Baker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Doyle defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeff Baker. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Doyle rushes Baker and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Baker gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Doyle has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Baker off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Baker shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Doyle as he avoids it easily.
Baker is breathing heavily.

Doyle gets a clinch.
Baker wants a takedown but no success here.

Doyle breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Doyle tries to clinch up but Baker circles away and keeps his distance.

Baker is rocked!
Doyle has Baker pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Baker is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Doyle - that's hurt Baker badly! Oh, another knee lands and Baker is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Baker doesn't seem to be complaining.
