Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Debonair Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Beast is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast looks to score with a jab to the body but Mitchell is just out of range.
Mitchell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Beast's waist but Beast gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mitchell off to one side.
Beast displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mitchell.
Beast fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice sprawl there from Mitchell as Beast shoots in.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Beast.

Mitchell moves into the clinch.

Mitchell lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Beast is trying to maintain the position but Mitchell is very close to passing his half guard.
Mitchell perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Mitchell is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Beast doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mitchell.

Mitchell is looking for a kimura but Beast is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mitchell to get the leverage.
Mitchell is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Mitchell is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Beast is just riding it out for now. Mitchell eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Mitchell pushes Beast up against the cage in a clinch.

Mitchell has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Beast regains guard immediately.
