The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman looks to land a combination but Bastian avoids it well.
Coleman rushes Bastian and presses him up against the cage.
Stalling in the clinch from Coleman.
Coleman is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bastian to keep the fight standing.
Coleman is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Coleman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bastian tries to break the clinch but Coleman is controlling the position.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Coleman sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bastian's guard.
Bastian is pressing down on Coleman's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Coleman wants to pass the guard but Bastian is keeping the position.

Bastian is looking to stand up but Coleman isn't so interested in that idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bastian is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Coleman wants the takedown. Bastian is fighting it off but Coleman persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bastian's guard against the cage.
Coleman trying to control the position from guard on top but Bastian is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Coleman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bastian swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bastian wants to sweep but no luck.
Bastian wants to stand but Coleman is controlling the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
