Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jaromir Marek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Hanegan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marek comes to the cage accompanied by Riot by Three Days Grace. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanegan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Marek fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hanegan, pushing him back against the cage.
Marek wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hanegan has him pressed against the cage.
Hanegan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hanegan is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

and Marek counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Marek swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hanegan counters with a three punch combo that has Marek backing up. Marek nods at Hanegan to acknowledge the strikes.

Hanegan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Marek pinned against the cage. Marek gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Marek decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hanegan's guard.

Hanegan has momentary wrist control but Marek slips an elbow through the middle.
Marek postures up in Hanegan's guard and throws a big left but Hanegan blocks it.

Marek drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hanegan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Marek has Hanegan in his guard.

Marek changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hanegan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Marek is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hanegan looks calm but he's in trouble here. Marek gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hanegan is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Marek lets go of the hold and Hanegan can pop his arm back in it's socket.
