The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis keeps the fight on the outside.
Davis lands with an overhand left.
Davis connects with the punch.
A punch lands to the side of Mittermeyer 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mittermeyer takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Davis lands a jab to the nose.
Mittermeyer is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Davis swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mittermeyer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Davis cracks Mittermeyer with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Mittermeyer tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Davis pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Mittermeyer is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
