The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nurburgring looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Striker!
Nurburgring takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Striker working to try and regain half guard.
Nurburgring blocks Striker's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

Striker wants to control but Nurburgring is having none of it.

It looks like Nurburgring might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Striker tries to lock up and control but Nurburgring gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Eta Nurburgring wasn't active enough on the ground.
Nurburgring blocks a head kick by Striker.
Striker fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nurburgring avoids it really well and circles away.

Striker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nurburgring has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Striker has managed to get both his arms back between Nurburgring's legs - danger averted.

Nurburgring is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Striker connects with a couple of short punches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Striker has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Nurburgring to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Striker is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Nurburgring pulls down on the head and he's put Striker to sleep! This one is all over!

Eta Nurburgring decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
