The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cosgrove shoots in looking for a takedown but King manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cosgrove's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
King fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cosgrove avoids the head kick by King.
Cosgrove shoots for a double leg takedown but King sprawls well. He's pushed Cosgrove's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
King throws a right hand that Cosgrove ducks under and follows up with a left that Cosgrove also avoids with ease.
King tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
King displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cosgrove.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darragh Cosgrove. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cosgrove looks for a takedown but King sprawls well.
Cosgrove shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and King counters with a left and a right that stings Cosgrove.
Cosgrove tries for a takedown but King sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Cosgrove gets a clinch.

Cosgrove is working for takedown but King is calmly controlling the position for now.
King is trying to break free.

King breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
King slaps away a takedown attempt from Cosgrove, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Cosgrove is breathing heavily.
A right-left combo lands from King.
King fails in his attempt to clinch.
Cosgrove tries to clinch but King is having none of it.
A head kick from Cosgrove lands but King takes it in his stride.
Cosgrove blocks a head kick by King.
Yuing King is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
King closes the distance but Cosgrove moves to the side
and Cosgrove counters with an outside leg kick.

King is looking to clinch but Cosgrove is avoiding it.
Darragh Cosgrove seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

King moves into the clinch.

King pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
King fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cosgrove tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but King was well out of range. Poor timing from Cosgrove.
Cosgrove is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Cosgrove misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cosgrove throws a half hearted mid kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - King looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
King looks to land a combination. Cosgrove sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Cosgrove is rocked!

King rushes Cosgrove and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Cosgrove is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
King lands an elbow that stopped Cosgrove in his tracks for a moment.

King decides to pull guard.

King pushes Cosgrove off and gets back to his feet.
King wobbles Cosgrove with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! King dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Cosgrove to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
