The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dront swinging wilding here.
Heino closes the distance and clinches up with Dront, looking for a takedown. Heino pushes Dront against the cage but Dront circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dront throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dront swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dront stuffs the takedown.
Dront fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Heino manages to avoid it.
Dront throws a body punch but Heino moves out of range.

Dront pushes Heino up against the cage in a clinch.
Dront tries to break the clinch but Heino is controlling the position.

Heino breaks from the clinch.
Heino moves out of range as Dront strikes.
Dront wants to clinch up but Heino keeps it at a distance.
Heino shoots for a takedown but Dront saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pekka Heino. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Heino is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Dront looks calm but he's in trouble here. Heino gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Dront is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Heino lets go of the hold and Dront can pop his arm back in it's socket.
