Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sinisa Veljko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salvador Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Veljko comes to the cage accompanied by Stemm - Face the pain. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Sinisa Veljko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Salvador Cannon!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veljko swings for the body but Cannon moves out of range.
Veljko avoids the head kick by Cannon.

Veljko has managed to clinch.

Veljko turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Veljko manages to end up in side control.
Cannon is pushing Veljko's head away, looking to escape. Veljko manages to hold on to the position though.
Cannon is not content to let Veljko control the position.
Cannon is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Veljko throwing strikes but Cannon manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

Veljko takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Cannon kicks Veljko off and gets back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Veljko counters with a shoot takedown. Cannon fights it but they end up in guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Cannon is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Veljko asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Cannon sneaks out the side door and pushes Veljko away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

and Veljko counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Cannon drops his hands momentarily and Veljko takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Salvador Cannon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Veljko doesn't manage to clinch there - Cannon circles away.

Veljko has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Cannon clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Salvador Cannon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Veljko throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

Well Veljko has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
