Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aleksander Shevchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James misses with a two punch combination.
James will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jesse James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shevchenko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but James circles away quickly and effectively.
Shevchenko throws a right and a left that both miss.
James misses with a series of wild punches.
James gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Shevchenko!

Shevchenko feints a jab promting James to slip. Shevchenko then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. James slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
James throws a left and a right that both miss
and Shevchenko counters with a one-two to the body.
Shevchenko on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Shevchenko slips a jab from James.
A combination from James does no damage.
James's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and James duly obliges.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Shevchenko takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
James takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
James ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shevchenko moves away.
No joy there for James, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
James dodges the punch combination from Shevchenko.
James works over Shevchenko's head and body with a nice combination.
James cracks Shevchenko with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Shevchenko is rocked!

Oh Shevchenko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shevchenko throws a series of punches but James moves out of range.
Shevchenko fails to land with a series of punches.
Shevchenko takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Shevchenko is breathing heavily.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! James has cracked Shevchenko with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! James lands another huge swinging hook and Shevchenko tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Shevchenko, before James can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jesse James!
A relieved looking Jesse James thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
