Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilkenny pushes Grant away with a front kick.
Horrible takedown by Grant or perhaps it was just good defense by Kilkenny which made him look bad.

Grant shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kilkenny napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Grant working the ground and pound but Kilkenny is defending the strikes.
Grant controls the position.
Grant's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Grant trying to control the action but Kilkenny is working from the bottom.

The ground and pound from Grant seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kilkenny wants to get back to his feet but Grant drags him back down.
Grant in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Grant prevents Kilkenny from escaping the position.

Grant has hold of Kilkenny's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Kilkenny seems comfortable defending it but Grant has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Kilkenny is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Kilkenny is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Grant couldn't care less - he's delighted!
