Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Natsu Dragneel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsu Higashikuni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Natsu Dragneel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Natsu Dragneel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Katsu Higashikuni!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Higashikuni uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dragneel.
Higashikuni fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Higashikuni clinches up with Dragneel and pushes him back against the cage.
Dragneel stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Dragneel tries to throw a body punch but Higashikuni avoids it by throwing Dragneel back against the cage.
Higashikuni's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Higashikuni lands a takedown into guard.
Dragneel seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Higashikuni stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dragneel swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dragneel bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Higashikuni's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dragneel avoids a strike by Higashikuni and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Higashikuni's guard! Fantastic escape!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Higashikuni enables Dragneel to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Higashikuni manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
