Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Boom Pow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baz Bloodfire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pow comes to the cage accompanied by Boom Boom Pow. Boom Pow has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Boom Pow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Baz Bloodfire!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pow shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pow was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bloodfire looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Pow trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Pow is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bloodfire is surviving well by controlling Pow's body position as best he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pow sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Bloodfire is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Pow lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Pow raining down shots from the mount!


It looks like Baz Bloodfire has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pow connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Pow jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bloodfire manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Pow wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bloodfire, who protects the arm well.
Pow works to advance to full mount. Bloodfire defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Pow connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pow with shots to the head and body - Bloodfire looks very uncomfortable down there.

Pow working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Pow with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Pow controlling the pace for now.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Pow looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Pow is working for a guillotine from mount but Bloodfire frees his head quite easily.

Bloodfire is squirming around, avoiding Pow's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bloodfire defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Pow.

Bloodfire is bucking up trying to escape but Pow cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Pow lands a heavy elbow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pow sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pow stands up from mount. Strange move.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boom Pow dominated that round.

Bloodfire misses with a takedown attempt
and Pow counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bloodfire thinking.

Bloodfire gets caught flat footed, as Pow shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bloodfire keeping moving, preventing Pow from controlling successfully.
Bloodfire looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Pow stands up over Bloodfire, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Pow throws a big right hand that misses.
Pow lands a couple of elbows.
Pow is stalling in the full guard.
Bloodfire is breathing heavily.
Pow chips away with some ground and pound.

Pow wants to control from the top but Bloodfire keeps moving.

Pow stands up and waves to Bloodfire to follow him.

Pow closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bloodfire keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Pow stands up and beckons Bloodfire to join him on the feet.
Pow misses with a leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pow lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Pow lands a nice looking body kick.

Pow decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pow thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bloodfire's head.

Pow fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee warns Bloodfire that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Pow landing strikes, looking to finish!
Pow pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Pow lands a big shot there that rocks Bloodfire but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Boom Pow dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Baz Bloodfire's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!



Pow closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Pow is keen to just control but Bloodfire is a slippery customer.

Pow in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Bloodfire tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Pow!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Boom Pow!
Boom Pow seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
