Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mariusz Igielski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bato Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mariusz Igielski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bato Stone!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Stone doesn't succeed with the takedown

so Igielski counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Igielski slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Stone throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Stone keeping moving, preventing Igielski from controlling successfully.
Igielski not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Igielski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Stone utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Stone is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Igielski is working Stone over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Stone shoots in and gets a takedown into Igielski's guard.
Igielski wants to sweep here but Stone controlling him for the moment.

Igielski throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stone was covering up waiting for the punch and Igielski finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mariusz Igielski.

Igielski closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Stone did well to prevent Igielski getting side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stone can't keep his opponent in guard - Igielski advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Igielski lands a nice short elbow.
Stone is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Igielski scores with a couple of nice shots.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Igielski closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Igielski has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Stone uses from the top position.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Igielski! Stone is hurt baaadly! Igielski is firing away with more strikes - Stone is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
