The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunderson tries to bum rush Atis with a series of wild strikes but Atis uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gunderson throws a series of punches but Atis moves out of range.
Gunderson throws a right and a left that Atis avoids nicely.
Gunderson throws a right hand that Atis ducks under and follows up with a left that Atis also avoids with ease.
Atis ducks under a wild hook from Gunderson.
Atis misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gunderson misses with a few strikes there.
Atis looks for a takedown but Gunderson sprawls well.
Atis fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eray Atis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gunderson fails to land with a series of punches.
Gunderson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Atis back to the cage. Gunderson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Atis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gunderson's waist but Gunderson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Atis off to one side.

Terry Gunderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gunderson connects with a single shot there.
Gunderson tries to bum rush Atis with a series of wild strikes but Atis uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Atis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Gunderson lands a left and a right that send Atis crashing to the mat, dazed. Gunderson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Gunderson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oh Atis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gunderson connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Atis to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Gunderson!
