Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Icaro Asas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitrii Vitali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asas shoots in for a takedown but Vitali shows good takedown defense.

Asas takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Vitali throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Asas shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Vitali 's guard.
Vitali is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Asas shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vitali as he avoids it easily.

Vitali stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Vitali connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Asas momentarily.
Good leg kick by Vitali there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Oh Asas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vitali connects with a good right hand that stumbles Asas. Asas circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Vitali lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Vitali rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Asas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
