Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Achilles Tycoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Chevalier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tycoon kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Theme from Magnum. Ronald Chevalier has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Achilles Tycoon's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tycoon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Chevalier as he jumps to the side.

Tycoon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Chevalier sprawls well initially but Tycoon persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Chevalier is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Tycoon throwing shots but Chevalier is blocking nicely.
Tycoon is keen to just control but Chevalier is a slippery customer.
Tycoon thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chevalier's head.

Tycoon is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Chevalier has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tycoon is working away from the top position though.

Chevalier is trying to escape the mount but Tycoon keeps good control and instead manages to take Chevalier's back.

Tycoon is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Chevalier is defending well though. Tycoon let's go of the attempt for now.

Achilles Tycoon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tycoon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chevalier sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tycoon somewhat.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Tycoon here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Tycoon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Tycoon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chevalier defends it easily.

Tycoon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chevalier gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Chevalier got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tycoon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chevalier has managed to get both his arms back between Tycoon's legs - danger averted.

Achilles Tycoon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Chevalier gets to his feet and stands over Tycoon, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Tycoon felt that one! Chevalier unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Tycoon from any more punishment!

In his post fight interview, Ronald Chevalier started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
